Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Dana Point / Monarch Beach

From the moment we stepped foot into this beautiful space we were blowen away. Everything was absolutely amazing. The drinks, food, service, atmosphere and service were top notch. The cheddar and chive biscuits were mouth watering. Light fluffy and delicious. The chowder was amazing! I could have eaten 2 bowls! The seabass was the best I have ever had. My husband enjoyed the Ribeye and the decadent bone marrow that is served with it! We topped everything off with the lemon cake that was the perfect ending to out delicious meal! We are excited to come back very soon and explore more master pieces from this kitchen!

What an amazing dining experience! Everything about this restaurant was superb. The ambience with the waves splashing was so romantic. The oysters were the freshest oysters my husband and I have ever had. The lobster bisque which was made table side was delicious. I had the miso black cod which was made to perfection. The Albariño wine paired perfectly with it. The main dish came with a side of mushrooms which were absolutely fresh and tasty. Who knew that mushrooms could taste so good. My husband had the prawns and the New York strip. They were both divine. For dessert we had the toffee pudding and chocolate cake. Both were perfectly decadent and delicious! Can’t wait to go back.

Dining at Opah Restaurant was wonderful. The staff was freindly, kind and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable. The service and food were outstanding. The owner came by our table to welcome us, just as he did for all the other guests. The menu was diverse and in selections and price. The atmosphere was relaxing and joyous. I highly recommend Opah Restaurant.

This might b my new favorite San Clemente spot to take guests! The ambiance on the patio is like being in Europe n it’s QUIET!!! The service is impeccable! The food is very good- my fav is the goat cheese appetizer n fig salad I loved the local fresh fish specials-they walked right by our patio table with a whole fresh halibut that was still wriggling I Think. Only problem is the AC not so good inside but patio dining is my fav anyway.
