This gem of a spot for lodgers and locals alike continues to improve immensely from the last couple of years. Its menu has been streamlined and offers great local products now listed on a board when you walk in! Also, service and check-in from management is timely and friendly and spot on. Food was amply portioned and served simply with success. I think they’re nailing getting this right for every generation. Busy beautiful summer Tuesday night and it was great to be there.

Filet mignon was exceptional. Exception ambience with 3 pc band playing in the background at dinner! Lovely drinks beforehand! Staff very personable! Beautiful sweeping views of lake Champlain. We went for 72nd birthday, staff really made it special! Loved the hazelnut chocolate mousse torte with a candle in it for my birthday!

We had a great meal at Campfire. There burgers are delicious and they have a great drink menu. The service was friendly, but a little slow. The atmosphere is a charming modern Adirondack feel.

Haystack is located next to the hotel lobby, but don’t let that deter you. My brother and I went over a long weekend expecting it to be packed as a hockey team was getting checked in. Service was quick and attentive. I had a New York sour which was delicious. My brother and I shared the mushroom sandwich melt and the mushroom pasta. Both were out of this world and at the end of the weekend the pasta dish was at the top of our list! A point off for ambience, but give it a go.
