Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die Portionen sind riesig und das Ambiente ist großartig! Das übrig gebliebene Essen wurde uns zum Mitnehmen eingepackt. Kinder können sich problemlos eine Portion teilen, so groß sind sie. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder – zu 100 %! Die Preise sind mehr als fair. The food was excellent, the portions are huge, and the atmosphere is great! They packed up the leftover food for us to take home. Children can easily share one portion because they are so large. We will definitely come back – 100%! The prices are more than reasonable.

Restaurant and Hotel are simple excellent. The service at dinner by Manuela and Lean was again excellent. Great to see a continuity in staff, which makes coming back a great experience.

We're regulars - even had our wedding celebration in the downstairs event venue in 2017 - and as such, we're used to being more than happy with the Dattler. This time around was no different from our previous visits: the food, the wine, the service - all absolutely exquisite. And as an added bonus you get the spectacular view of Freiburg and beyond, all the way across the Alsace to the Vosges mountains on a clear day. We're already looking forward to next time.
