- LLinda CannonGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoFrom the moment I walked into the restaurant I received a warm welcome and my questions were answered. I was escorted to a table overlooking the ocean . Immediately I was greeted by the waitress . The food was excellent! We especially loved the Goat, Feta and Cream cheese dip for an appetizer. The tacos and french fries were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.More infoSeaglass Restaurant and Lounge$$$$• American• Salisbury•4.7
- KKatelynGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHad an incredible time at the mushroom dinner at Forage! Every single course was so good that whichever one was in front of us immediately became our new favorite. We loved learning about the wines and the story behind each producer, and the staff couldn't have been better—super attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the pairings and all things mushroom. Such a wonderful night out!More infoForage$$$$• Farm-to-table• Cambridge•4.7

The bartender (I can’t remember her name) was so kind and efficient despite being busy. Also I really enjoyed the Halloween themed cocktails. Delicious!More infoThe Babe$$$$• American• Salem•3.8
- GGabrielChicago / Illinois •3 reviews4.0Dined on 22 Sept 2026We had a great dinner at the Tavern at the Hawthorne Hotel. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the historic setting of the Hawthorne makes it a particularly enjoyable place to have a meal while visiting Salem. Our only minor criticism was that, toward the end of the meal, we felt a little rushed. It seemed like there was some pressure to finish up so the table could be turned for the next guests. Nothing was ever said directly, and the service was still friendly, but it did take away slightly from what otherwise would have been a completely relaxed dining experience. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the Tavern and would absolutely recommend it. Great food, great atmosphere, and a wonderful spot to experience a little of Salem’s historic charm.More infoHawthorne Hotel Dining$$$$• American• Salem•4.6
