Best Healthy Restaurants in Stockbridge

Great atmosphere with lovely decor and friendly, efficient service. A good choice of food for a Monday lunchtime in a country pub. Sea bass and pie of the day were amazing. And loved the option of mini chocolates to have with coffee.

Absolutely incredible in every way! If you’re considering anywhere else - don’t !

Fish dishes at Laytons are outstanding - perfectly cooked, well presented, just the right size and utterly delicious - the bouillabaisse, crab, and hake in particular. Meat dishes are less impressive. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Good wine list. As a beer lover, my one quibble is that it would be great if they had a local draft bitter.

Popped ion for a meal to celebrate the 46th anniversary of our first date. Very glad we did as the service, the ambience, and the quality of the food was top notch. The decor is very warm and comforting, especially on what was turning into a wet and windy evening. The beer was good, but most importantly the food was very tasty - cod fillet and pan-fried chicken supreme. We don't eat out too many times but it was good having a meal that was full of flavours and with decent portion sizes too. We'll be back again.

Food was excellent as always. My chicken classic curry was lovely. Good portion size and I had asked for prawns to be added as extra which they did. The pork and lemongrass meatballs which we shared as a starter was lovely too. The restaurant was half full and only a couple of staff on. I felt the service this time wasn't as good as its been on our previous visits. We had to keep asking for stuff like napkins and cutlery. However, we come regularly and will continue to do so.
