We loved the wine tasting experience because it was intimate, the food was delicious (especially the tomato soup), and the staff and other guests were super friendly. The Piedmont wines were great! We bought a few bottles :)

We came here for our 22nd anniversary and it did not disappoint. When we arrived we were seated promptly and the table was beautiful. They had brought my wife a rose for our anniversary. The drinks were delicious and the steaks were superb. Best I’ve had in a long time! They also gave us a complimentary dessert and boxed up what we couldn’t finish. The servers were courteous and knowledgeable- very warm and professional. We had such a great experience. FYI- get the dinner rolls!

Everything was amazing. From the bartender's recommendation of one of the best beers I've had, to the great recommendation from the server for the meals/wine pairings. Totally best dining experience in a long time. Will be back as I frequent the city for work

We were greeted enthusiastically at the front door and were handed an anniversary card which included two glasses of champagne. The food/steak was great as always, and I had leftovers to take home. Service is top-notch and we look forward to going back soon.

We came for my girlfriend’s birthday and had an outstanding experience. The historic castle setting is beautiful inside and out, with great attention to detail, multiple levels, and a warm, elevated atmosphere (plus a nice patio). The food was excellent across the board — the deviled eggs, wedge salad, meatballs, and wagyu were all well executed and flavorful. Everything felt intentional. What really stands out is the personal touch. The owner goes table to table and the entire staff is genuinely attentive and friendly. For the birthday they brought out a flower bouquet with a sparkler and even covered our dessert — a thoughtful gesture that made the night feel special. The wine list is strong and they offer flights if you want to try a few things. Overall, this is one of the better dining experiences in the Kansas City metro. A+ from top to bottom.
