Best Historic Restaurants in Hillingdon

My husband and I celebrated our 61st wedding anniversary at Scott's of Richmond. Lunch was simply excellent, from the drinks we had, the starters, and the main course. As it was a special occasion, I had the French Gillardeau oysters and our son had the more than excellent Scott's seafood platter. My husband and I had the Kashmiri monkfish as the main course and it was excellent. Great atmosphere backed by jazzy music and excellent service. Highly recommend the place if celebrating a special occasion.

When I have friends from the U.S. visit I take them to one of the Ivy restaurants as they are full of whimsy, wonderful staff and great food. This visit was no exception. We went for a cream tea at noon and the delightful Charlie not only served us but also regaled my friends with facts about the Ivy. That evening I took them to dinner and we had the lovely Milo serving us, he was an absolute delight, made sure we all had fun and enjoyed our food. My friends really enjoyed themselves, had amazing food, and walked away with an experience. (You also made me look good for choosing your restaurant)

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here last night. The service was impeccable- attentive, polite and friendly team! The drinks and food were delicious- the butternut risotto was out of this world as was the chocolate tart with raspberry sorbet. Thank you!

Was here for Monday night dinner date - service was great (she was a server with short wavy brown hair) but she was amazing, the cocktails were great, ambience great and food great. Thank you!!!

Always a friendly welcome at Cote Ealing - the staff know us well and always look after us. Terrific food, enjoyed by all - a lovely evening.
