Best Historic Restaurants in Madisonville

As expected, the food was top-tier. And the service; I cannot say enough great things about the service. Made us feel like the only ones in the restaurant

My absolute favorite restaurant in New Orleans. It never disappoints! Superb service from Murphy and Megan, and Murphy was kind enough to give me a tour of the restaurant. I had the fall lunch special with the autumn salad and Coq au Vin, along with an order of the delicious lobster and crabmeat au gratin. I highly recommend!

I noted on my reservation that it was an anniversary dinner. Feliciana seated us in a beautiful booth and had a hand written card on the table saying Happy Anniversary. Waiter Alex was amazing in every way and helped make the dinner special, down to wine recommendations and “I can make that happen” service. The staff served and removed dishes so elegantly it was magical.

Soothing cozy ambiance, good food, friendly service

My husband ordered the ribeye which was unbelievable, so juicy and tender. I ordered the grouper fish special and it was so delicious. Matthew was our server and he was so attentive, it was such an enjoyable experience. We would highly recommend Dakota
