The ambience at sunset on this terrace is magical. I have been here many times, including a few days prior during the day. This last meal was at sunset. Both are gorgeous. It is outside but shaded and there are heaters, but plan to be outside. The pimento scones have a wonderful presentation and are good. The dressing on the ceasar salad is notable as is the macaroni and cheese. The steaks are memorable and the oyster rockefeller type option is fantastic. The drinks are very well done as well. Each one I have tried is notable. The service in my repeated experience is dependent on who you have. The woman who waited on us last night was wonderful and pleasant. Unfortunately, the man who waited on me the previous time whose name I will not include was rude and accused me weirdly enough of trying to have a soup I did not order when he misheard me. It frankly ruined my meal which was disappointing. I was shocked at how rude he was when he made a mistake. He realized that I was coming back to eat there and even staying for days...and he did give us glasses of champagne and comp'd the appetizer. People make mistakes but it was enough for me to watch and be relieved when I didn't sit in his section last night. It is a special setting. I have made it a destination for years.
