Al J. Schneider was a true Louisville visionary who was responsible for changing the landscape of Louisville. Mr. Schneider built hotels, schools, banking institutions, office complexes and medical facilities but his greatest achievement was his family. Mr. and Mrs. Schneider had six children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. In the Schneider family Sunday dinner was a time when they could all sit around a table and be together.     I had a wonderful experience at Repeal Oak Fired Steakhouse. My ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the roasted mushrooms were a great side. I also enjoyed two whisky sours...the drinks were amazing. I’m definitely coming back!

    Absolutely incredible. Havana in Louisville. From the moment you enter and are hit with the music and energy to the amazing decor, the attentive waitstaff, it’s the beginning of an awesome meal. The ceviche and barquitos were as good as any we’ve had. The vaca was perfectly tender and crispy and the black beans are truly magical. Love the raw sugar cane in the drinks too. This place deserves all of its accolades!

    I've been to steakhouses all over the world. I always get the filet oscar. Tonight I had the best one I've ever had. It was amazing. Nice crust without tasting burnt, creamy mashed potatoes and fantastic mac and cheese. I'm considering booking a long weekend and taking a 5-hour drive just to bring my wife down to try this restaurant.

    If you’re a fan of deviled eggs but you think it’s weird as an appetizer.. IGNORE THAT THOUGHT & ORDER IT. You won’t be disappointed. The crab cake, seasoned very well - Maryland style like it should be, it melts in your mouth. Ribeye with au gratin spuds was a great choice. It was more than I could eat. Very happy to take those leftovers home. Everything was delicious and the server, Nick, did a great job keeping up with us. Oh, Kentucky Samurai - never have enjoyed a sweet bourbon cocktail this much - goes down a little too easy. Highly recommend this place, can’t wait to go back.
