    From reception to leaving (and leaving my credit card in the check presenter which led to a call from our server to notify me five minutes after leaving - thank you Jhanna! - everything was excellent. Cocktails, wine and of course the food and service. Lucky to have this in the neighborhood.

    My husband and I had dinner at Rajaji on a Sunday around 5:00pm and it was excellent! We often seek out Indian restaurants when we are traveling as it is one of our favorite types of cuisine and Rajaji did not disappoint. He always orders chicken biryani and I always get some type of dal (dal makhani this time) and Rajaji’s versions were top tier. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in D.C. looking for a delicious meal and a relaxed environment.

    Had a wonderful dinner outside on a mild July evening. The service from the moment we arrived was attentive but not overbearing (special thanks to our waitress, Jacqueline). The menu has a nice selection of small and large plates. Wine selection is sufficient but not expansive, and the cocktails are delicious. We were too full for dessert but will plan better next time. Can’t wait to go back!
