    Vintage Tavern was an unexpected surprise. We recently moved to the Western Branch section of Chesapeake and thought we would give this a try. The atmosphere and ambience was quiet and the decor was cozy. My husband had a fall cocktail with gin. I had the sangria mocktail. An unexpected surprise was, you can order any cocktail on their list as a mocktail if you do not want alcohol. We were pleasantly surprised when we received the bill and the mocktail was only $5. Many restaurants that we go to charge full price, the same price as you would pay for a drink with alcohol. I do not drink alcohol so this was awesome to me to be able to enjoy a fancy drink without the steep price. I ordered the special which was a flounder dish. My husband ordered the elk chops. Both were delicious, but those elk chops we're amazing! Our waiter was courteous and quick. For the appetizer. We had the plate that contains ham and biscuits and deviled eggs and other delicacies. The whole meal was delicious and the manager came by to check and see how things were going. This is the kind of service you should receive when you are eating at a casual fine dining restaurant. We will definitely be back! I did not get a photo of my husband's elk chops but I did get a photo of my flounder. It was one of the nightly specials and was absolutely delicious!

    My husband and I went for our 1st anniversary. They were so nice and the manager took time to speak with us. They gifted us a glass of champagne to celebrate us. Food was delicious. 10/10

    Loved the atmosphere, food but most of all THE SERVICE. We had a young,African American lady with cute Afro puffs. She was so attentive, knowledgeable about the food options and bubbly. This being our first ….lets just say she made memorable and WE WILL BE BACK
