A little difficult to find, but you are welcomed with a big smile and wonderful service. Excellent menu choices, we went with one of the Wagyu beef and one with pork. Multiple courses for both. Appetizers/starters are wonderful then we came to the main course for shabu shabu. It took a few minutes to cook the vegetables and they were delicious. When we added the meats, it would only take a few seconds to deliver a very tasty morsel. Two dipping sauces – we both favored the sesame, which was delicious. After dinner, the rice porridge was an excellent treat, all topped off with homemade ice cream. Excellent menu with meal choices, wine, whiskey, and beer choices, and absolutely terrific service. I’m not sure if we can find another shabu shabu that is better but if you are in Tokyo, you must come here!More infoしゃぶしゃぶ 尾がみ Shabu-Shabu Ogami¥¥¥¥• Japanese• Ginza•4.9

And it did not disappoint. It’s in the basement level of a building and very lively from the moment you enter. The mood is convivial, a nice change from some of the upscale sushi places. We had the basic set course menu which was plenty of food. Everything was tasty and it was fun to try all the different parts of a chicken. Would recommend to anyone!More infoBird Land Ginza¥¥¥¥• Japanese• Ginza•4.4

- GGourmet1978GoldDenver / Colorado •29 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Oct 2022I was a bit skeptical once we arrived and it was in the restaurant level of a shopping mall...in the USA, we do not usually associate quality dining within shopping malls with a few exceptions. However, I was quickly dissuaded. Service was impeccable. We were seated in a private room and our server was dressed to impress in a kimono! The food was exquisitely presented and served elegantly. The chef came in several times to check-in and serve us the dishes. It was an absolute delight! A true kaiseki experience. My only criticism would be that our private dining room was a brightly lit and there were no wall decorations. It may have been better to lower the lights and have a piece of art on the wall. That would have made it better. All in all, a superb evening. A nice, special dinner while in Tokyo. Highly recommended.More infoGinza Simogamo Saryo Higashi no hanare¥¥¥¥• Japanese• Ginza•4.4
