DANIEL DEL PRADOBorn in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Chef Daniel del Prado is the child of parents of Spanish and southern Italian descent. Upon moving to Minneapolis, he had the opportunity to work in some of the finest kitchens in the Twin Cities. In 2009 del Prado teamed up with his mentor, Isaac Becker, to open Bar La Grassa in the North Loop. When it came time for del Prado to open his own concepts, he burst onto the Twin Cities scene with his premiere Linden Hills restaurant, Martina, and opened the Oaxacan Mexican-influenced Colita just a year after. Chef del Prado has continued to open new and innovative concepts.

There are ninety-nine different ways to write “sushi” in the Japanese script of kanji. Each with its own unique interpretation and meaning. It was with great deliberation that our founder, Billy, chose 寿司 to best represent his personal interpretation of the word - Celebration of Fish! That’s exactly how Billy feels about the art of making sushi and the atmosphere that surrounds it - it should be a celebration! Which is why Billy Sushi is more than just a restaurant, it is an experience for anyone who allows themselves to take part. A three-ring performance of sorts - sushi bar, sake bar and dining room - brought to life by the performances of sushi chefs, bartenders and servers. And the Ring Master and your host, Billy.

We dine outdoors on a late fall evening and had a delicious meal. I truly appreciate the dairy free menu. We had the potato churros as an appetizer and then the tagliatelle and salmon. Both outstanding. And when a moth decided to take a swim in my wine, a new glass was immediately procured 😂 This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants even though it is a bit of a drive for us.

Just an incredible experience, the food was perfect. The preserved salmon was Smokey and savory, the chimichurri on the fingerling potatoes was just perfect, and the Bison Ribeye was the best Bison I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back

What an incredible experience at Manny’s Steakhouse in downtown Minneapolis! From the moment we arrived, everything was first-class. The atmosphere, energy, food, and especially the customer service were nothing short of outstanding. A very special shout-out to our server, Heidi, who truly made the evening unforgettable. She was absolutely amazing! Her attention to detail, genuine warmth, personality, and ability to make us feel special really set this experience apart. What impressed me most was that it never felt like we were being pushed to order more food or spend more money. Instead, Heidi was genuinely focused on making sure we had an exceptional evening. That level of sincerity and hospitality is rare, and it made the entire experience feel like a celebration. Honestly, it felt more like being treated to a birthday dinner than simply going out for a meal! The food was fantastic, but it was the people, energy, and exceptional service that made the evening so memorable. A perfect 10 out of 10 across the board! Manny’s clearly understands what true hospitality is all about. Heidi, thank you for making our evening so special. You are a tremendous ambassador for Manny’s Steakhouse!
