A homage to owner Amy Morton’s legendary father, restaurateur Arnie Morton (Morton’s Steakhouse), the menu boasts the finest quality ingredients available including prime heritage Angus steaks. As The Barn's menu is ever-evolving, the exact menu may be different when you dine. Featured in the Chicago Tribune and Evanston Now, The Barn is situated in a 19th century building, which was once a horse stable. Its entrance is accessible through the back alleyway for a unique experience. The intimate spot is accessible only through the alley and features soaring ceilings. This eatery also provides seating for up to 100 guests as well as outdoor seating in the garden.

    The Barn Steakhouse is 5-stars all around. Food is excellent, staff is very accommodating and attentive. The cocktails, wine selection are superb. I’ve been going to the Barn for years. Never a disappointment. Highly recommend for an evening of great food, awesome atmosphere and excellent service.

    Our server was absolutely wonderful! I have hearing difficulties. I've been to your restaurant only three times so far but each time you have always been thoughtful enough to give me the first booth next to the bar! You should put a plaque with my name on it there! The French onion soup was superb as was the French dip! I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT❗ I've sent all my friends and family!!!!!

    We enjoyed a truly unique dining experience last Sunday at the Burl Family Supper night! It was one seating that was served family style without rush yet with lots of attention. The chefs from Burl and the collaborative restaurant spoke three times during the meal to talk about the food and the experience. They also took time to make rounds at all the tables to meet their guests as if they were entertaining in their own home. Their attention to locally sourced foods and wines is impressive. I highly recommend this experience and dining in general with these great people at Burl!
