We are not a ‘fancy pants’ establishment. Not in the least. We offer good quality, home-cooked, locally sourced (where possible) food. 90% of our menu is made on the premises. Certainly not ‘Pub Grub’ but not ‘Gastro Pub’ either. It’s good value for money. However, our standards are high, very high. Not only in the quality of the food that comes into and leaves the kitchen but also in the presentation, the delivery to the table and overall customer service. We’re definitely not ‘Silver Service’ either but all of our staff are attentive, smartly dressed and will always go that extra mile wherever they can. This is why we regularly appear in OpenTable's Top Ten Best Restaurant Lists.
We are a dog friendly establishment, very dog friendly. However, please tell us at the time of booking so that we can place you in our Bar area , as opposed to our Restaurant.

The Loch & the Tyne is all about sustainable British luxury. The perfect countryside location for exclusive weddings, private events and country getaways.

We're a British pub in the countryside of old Windsor, offering a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out our list of local craft beers and wine. We very much celebrate English wines, both still and sparkling.

We offer British pub food, with a luxury approach. It’s a simple offering but showcases the
best of British produce. Our Sunday lunch is perfect to come and enjoy with friends and family (and
dogs are more than welcome too).

Braintree
We've been serving the people of Braintree and beyond since 2015 and in that time have humbly become ‘one of Essex’s best restaurants.’ We have received recognition from the AA, having been awarded an AA Rosette for ‘culinary excellence’ for five consecutive years, and then in 2023 we received our second rosette, putting the restaurant amongst the top 10 restaurants in Essex. Our food is of course one of our main focuses, but we don’t just stop there. Attentive, relaxed and friendly service is as important as the food and our objective is to make your visit an enjoyably memorable one. Our exceptional wine supplier, Peter Watts Wines (based up the road in Coggeshall) allows us to offer you delicious wines of an exceptional quality. Then add some cocktails, jazz, personality, creativity, a few hidden quirks and we like to think this all culminates to create a truly wonderful experience. Life is about memories; we want to be part of your best ones.

Thundercat has became our go-to when dining out. My daughter has coeliac disease and the NGCI menu is brilliant, loads to choose from and the kitchen staff use a separate fryer which ensures peace of mind. The main menu has plenty of choice too, as does the cocktail menu. Great atmosphere, love the decor and the music too. The staff are always so friendly and very efficient too, never wait long at all for drinks or food to arrive at the table. Brilliant value for money, particularly the lunch menu where you get a starter, a main and a drink for £14.50. The portion sizes are huge so always leave feeling full. Highly recommend!

We visited as a team of 10 people recently as recommended by our colleagues who live locally for a work get together - they were so right! The restaurant itself is fabulous and I would go there again! The service was impeccable, friendly servers and the food was delicious with generous portions. So reasonably priced and a good wine list too. I had the lamb chops. Highly recommend. Everyone's food came out together, everything was hot and well cooked. I had a birthday cake that was heart shaped and honestly the lightest, tastiest cake I've every tried!! So lovely and a great experience too. The decor made you feel like a celebrity! Great Insta pics in every corner of the place. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

What a wonderful place, super central but with a local family run vibe. We went for my daughters 21st birthday as we wanted a restaurant that we could bring our 10 week old puppy too. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food was great we had a perfect family evening out. x

“In Syrian culture, we can’t make any journey without first planning the food. If you decide to go to the cinema, you plan what you’ll eat. If you plan to visit your mother, you know that you’re going to eat. There’s no going out without eating something.”

A lovely experience! The food is delicious, a great place to come and try dishes with fresh ingredients. Very aware of allergies! The staff are attentive and kept the experience moving very smoothly. The restaurant itself is pretty and a lovely setting in the evening for any occasion, from a birthday to a date to a family meal. There is noise to fill any quiet moments but not too loud that you can’t have conversations. Will be going again!

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic dining experience. We started with the oysters and potato scallops. The oysters were incredibly fresh and a real highlight for my girlfriend, while the potato scallops paired perfectly with the delicious curry sauce. We also enjoyed the house martini, which had a wonderfully briny touch and certainly packed a punch. For mains, we shared the bavette with fries and the cod and clams stew, both of which were cooked beautifully and perfectly seasoned. To finish, we enjoyed the Guinness cake and pumpkin pecan parfait, which our server kindly reserved for us. The food was fresh, seasonal, and full of flavour throughout. Combined with the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere and the warm, attentive service, it made for a memorable evening. We'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional food in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

Food came quickly, we were asked if we wanted to taste wines before we bought a bottle and the staff were incredible. Can’t wait to go back 🤩

21’s cooking is big on flavour and short on fuss. We’re talking about a style which embraces the seasons and where the ingredients are king. Expect to find stylish, imaginative dishes – which don’t pander to fads or fashion…………and still have room for pudding. Expect a warm welcome, generous hospitality and service that is both friendly and correct.

A city centre restaurant with a city centre buzz. In the heart of Newcastle's Quayside, 21 has an excitement and warmth all of its own. Smart but not stuffy, sleek but not pretentious, fun but not gimmicky - It's about eating good food in comfortably stylish surroundings.

Menus include Lunch and Early Evening Fixed Price, Five Course Seasonal and à la Carte.

We’re big on warmth, low on fussiness: stripped wood floors, high bar stools, painted brickwork and comfy leather banquettes. Sup your pint beside our polished-oak bar or tuck yourself away in the Snug behind the frosted glass partition. You can hear yourself talk, concentrate on the crossword or nod off quietly in the corner.

To help keep everyone safe, our teams will continue to wear face masks and we'd love you to do the same when nentering and moving around the pub and dining room.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding and we look forward to seeing you.

The Courtyard offers a warm farmhouse feel in the heart of Northumberland. Situated in Pegswood, the historic building which dates back to early-1900s, sits on the main route to Longhirst, once a home of. “Old King Cole”. The Cat Inn is a 16th century free house set in the picturesque village of West Hoathly, a hilltop village set in the heart of the Sussex countryside. It is in within easy distance from the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport.

The Pub with its oak beams and two inglenook fireplaces proffers a warm and cosy atmosphere in the winter, whilst our terrace is perfect to enjoy a drink and food in the summer months. Being a free house we pride ourselves in the quality of our real ale, and concentrate on local breweries, such as Harvey's of Lewes and other micro breweries. Our food is cooked to order, using fresh, seasonal and where possible locally sourced ingredients. Our menus change on a regular basis and we also offer a small selection of seasonal specials on a daily basis.

We welcome children over the age of 7. Dogs are welcome in the "pub" area of the Cat, they are not permitted in the dining room

We loved the little alcove for our small group of 4. It gave it a rather special ambiance. Great food, service and atmosphere as always. The Cat never fails to delight.

We were greeted very promptly and offered a choice of seat. Attentive young man took our order for afternoon tea. We were served very quickly. The food was excellent and very palatable. We enjoyed the proper tea. We settled the bill followed by a visit to the shop area and bought several boxes which will make useful Christmas presents. We would recommend Betty’s Tearoom and we will visit again when we next visit Harrogate.

We’re located in a beautifully restored former Wood Turning Mill and Dyehouse, with Riverside Garden and Wild Flower Meadow, with decor embracing our post-modern industrial heritage with the warmth and energy of an Italian Piazza.
