We ate at The Vine Room twice on our visit to Cairns. Both times, the food and service were excellent. The prawn risotto is amazing, and so is the barramundi. Perfect to share. On our second visit, we ordered 3 small plates and enjoyed wine and a great view. I highly recommend The Vine Room!

Palooka will always be our only preference for a date night location; we live 70km away, and it’s worth it everytime; is it cheap, it’s not, but we are yet to have a bad experience on any level. They have a squid special at the moment which needs to be a regular item.

I wanted a special lunch as I hadn't seen my girlfriend for 8 years. The Tree House Restaurant at Silky Oaks Lodge was the best choice of venue. The setting is unique and stunningly beautiful; the food was magnificent and served at perfect intervals by friendly, attentive staff. We had the most lovely afternoon.
