Silvestre was one of the highlights of my trip to Costa Rica. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every course was beautifully presented and thoughtfully explained, making the entire meal feel like a culinary journey through Costa Rica. The flavors were incredibly creative while still honoring local ingredients and traditions. Every dish had its own unique personality, and it was clear that an enormous amount of care and craftsmanship went into each plate. The cocktail program was equally impressive and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable, making it ideal for a special occasion or simply an unforgettable night out. If you’re visiting San José and want to experience one of the best restaurants in the country, Silvestre is an absolute must. I would gladly return on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Delicious food, amazing cocktails with a creative twist and theatrical presentation.

This was an outstanding restaurant. The Ribeye and the steak over risotto were amazing. The Jade Margarita was out of this world (not a traditional margarita from a US perspective). Luis was also great.

Great sports bar experience overall. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was outstanding, and our server was very attentive and professional throughout the visit. The food was good, but there is still some room for improvement in terms of overall quality. If they elevate the food a bit more, this place could easily become an excellent overall experience.

Wonderful! This is my favorite restaurant in San Jose and I always look forward to dining here when in town!
