One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time (I travel a lot for work & eat out frequently). It’s been about 7 years since I was last in Portland. Scales was one of my favorite restaurants on my visits and I was so excited to dine here again. Thrilled that it is just as good as I remembered. I reserved a seat at the bar, my favorite place to sit, and it was wonderful. The restaurant is so beautiful, welcoming and well-maintained. My bartender/server was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. The endive Stilton salad was incredible. I couldn’t get over how perfect it was. The tuna crudo, delicious. The fresh oysters (two of each kind) were icy cold, very clean, and super tasty -heavenly. The gentlemen who prepared my oysters was equally friendly and skilled. The scallops!! Wow. And finally, while I still don’t know how I feel as able to eat dessert, I had the butterscotch sundae. Oh my God. I honestly thought I was going to cry tears of joy over that meal. Such a delight. 10/10 no notes. In the craziness of this world, that meal felt like a big warm hug. Thank you!

We had a fabulous dinner yesterday at Earth. This was our second time here and I can confidently say this will be our new special occasion spot. Charlie was exceptional, professional yet warm and engaging. He treated us with great care and went out of his way to create a memorable meal. The pork belly course will be something I will be talking up for some time. Thank you again for a wonderful evening.

Always a trusted spot for a creative and tasty menu. White wine was nice and cold, burger was ideal, and the fries are the best in the area. Scallops got big thumbs up and the turkey smash burger exceeded expectation. Server was A+

Their smash burgers are delicious! All the food was good. Nice place - didn’t know it was a chain, I’ll be on the lookout for more in my travels!
