Rump steak was overcooked. Well priced but tough and dry.

We wanted a longish late lunch after a matinee show so our arrival was 2.45pm The staff and management were so obliging and understanding when, we first of all reduced the number of the booking, then when it was raining we rang about coverage and they were happy to move us inside and then when we arrived it turned sunny so they found us a table viewing the water.... then it came over cloudy and darkish so on went the heaters and out came the table light. All done with a friendly smile. meanwhile we enjoyed their fabulous food with offerings of entrees small plates and large plates to choose from. The food was absolutely delicious. Our 4 hour parking spot on the street was enough time to ensure we will have to return to try their deserts.

My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday dinner, and the staff, especially Caitlin, were so kind and made our experience amazing. This wasn’t our first time at The Pony. We also visited on Valentine’s Day and were served by Caitlin then too. We were surprised with a special birthday dessert, which was absolutely delicious. The food is always amazing, the service is wonderful, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

When you're attending a performance at Roslyn Packer Theatre, what better place to have a bite and a drink than Folio Bar. The menu is limited but the selections are well-rounded and the drinks list complements the menu perfectly. I recommend it highly but be sure to book a table well ahead of your visit to ensure you won't be disappointed.

hidden inside one of The Rocks’ historic-looking buildings is this lively japanese izakaya that feels like you’ve stepped into a completely different world 🇯🇵✨ from the moment you walk into Mitto, you’re surrounded by quirky japanese decor, anime characters tucked into corners, and a fun atmosphere that makes you want to settle in for the night. the food was a pleasant surprise too, unlike many izakaya where dishes can feel more like snacks, portions here are generous and reasonably priced, making it a great spot for groups and celebrations. the stars of the night were definitely the two tableside fire experiences. the wagyu served on hinoki wood was torched at the table, filling the air with an incredible smoky aroma that carried beautifully through the perfectly cooked beef. dramatic, yes, but also genuinely delicious. then came the wagyu foie gras sushi. torched tableside once again, watching the fats slowly melt before taking a bite was almost as satisfying as eating it. rich, luscious, and completely indulgent. we also loved the teriyaki tofu with its incredibly moreish sauce, while the miso eggplant paired with mustard was an unexpected combination that worked ridiculously well — definitely stealing that idea. the assorted skewers and octopus salad were equally solid additions to the feast. fun atmosphere, great food, generous portions, and plenty of wow moments along the way. one to keep in mind for your next gathering in The Rocks 👀
