First time we've been upstairs, much better atmosphere than downstairs, ribs for starters which were great, best our grandson had ever tasted. Generous portions for main course all very tasty, too full to eat a dessert

We did the weekend lunch deal as a group of 10 celebrating my husband’s 40th. The meal was superb. The service was spot on. The lunch deal is great value. I had a beef roast and a tiramisu for desert. So good! Thank you to all the team for looking after us so well, nothing was too much trouble.

We visited the Boars Head for my boyfriends birthday. It was a hot Monday evening so extremely quiet in the restaurant (in fact I believe we were the only people eating). The service (thank you Izzy) and food was amazing, I would highly recommend and will not hesitate to book again.
