Lake Grove Restaurants

Chas. American Restaurant is a great addition to Smithtown. The food and service were seriously outstanding. We enjoyed the free bread loaf, a beet salad and the scallops dinner. Its was all delicious. Our waiter Anthony was absolutely on point and did an incredible job taking care of us. The manager Oscar was constantly checking in to make sure we had the best experience possible. Both of them really made our night special. The place has plenty of seating with booths throughout plus a nice sized bar area with plenty of seating. The decor has that RL vibe and feels super welcoming. I'd definitely recommend checking this restaurant out.

Our waiter (Anthony, I believe) was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. There was a plethora of gluten free options and food was served in a timely manner. The staff even sang happy birthday once they realized what we were there to celebrate.

We celebrated birthdays for two very special people. The staff at Ruth’s Chris was fantastic, the food was wonderful drinks excellent. The restaurant gave a little extra surprise, decorated the table with birthday wishes and also when we opened up the menu, we were very happy to see the birthday wishes printed on the menu as well. They made us all feel very welcome and special.

The service was excellent from our waitress and servers. They food was cooked just the way you like it. I highly recommend!

Went for light dinner and drinks with friends. Overall was a great experience. We will return.
