The food here is always delicious, and the menu is always so interesting, with plenty of tempting options! And the service is excellent, and so friendly. Fast becoming a favourite.

This would be a minimalist food joke were it not for the prices. Charcuterie - slices of salami and bressola . Very good bressola but NOTHING else ! A little mustardo mm a hint of sauerkraut or a couple of cornichon a pickle or two. You cut up meat - that’s not cooking. Skate fritters - three - very small - a dollop of indifferent aioli - £16 Come on. My wife’s dish was a small bowl of gratin - again indifferent. But not the price - £30 Yes, they had a glass door and. Clearly saw us coming. Grace Dent of the Guardian gave this place a glowing review a few years ago. Grace - it’s in the ditch. The potatoes were good but at £1 each they should be and boiling potatoes is hardly cooking. There was a near continuum up and down the staircase of kitchen clothing clad people carrying kitchen utensils. This is a rouse. There is no cooking of any discernible worth going on here. Pass by.

Set out as an attractive little café, with unobtrusive service, and a promising seasonal and homespun menu that changes regularly. But do the cooking and this ambience really match the high prices? The 'little trout paté on toast' is very small, a canapé on a crouton; my guest's endive and ham gratin as a main course arrived in a small oval bowl with no gratinated topping; the individual glasses of wine were barely 125ml. I ordered the skate croquettes - nice aioli, but the fillings were largely sauce, with very little fish. The vegetable pie was underseasoned and rather dry, its accompanying salad nice quality but drowned in an over-salty dressing. Ordered a decaf espresso - no decaf here, so normal espresso . . . had to ask for sugar, arrived five minutes later. Given that the food felt a little meagre and underpowered, the bill for lunch was over £75 a head with only one glass of wine, and the range of other high end restaurant lunch options for that price in the West End, I'm not sure why this café has such good reviews.

I love Cafe Deco. The service is impeccable, and the food is incredibly delicious. If I could, I'd come every night of the week.

This is our favorite restaurant in London, hands down. Very accommodating for my wife who has coeliac’s disease and is vegetarian.

Lovely service. Table too small & I was sitting on a heater. First courses excellent. Main course pie was really not good The peas were not restaurant standard. Squid main. Squid cooked perfectly but sloppy with the greens & anchovy was not present enough. Excellent wine list. Delightful staff. Waitress did ask during main if we’d like a different table but we were eating.
