Ciao Italia first opened its doors in Whittier on August 29, 2007 as Ciao Italia Panini Grill. Exclusively selling Grilled Panini and fresh salads. It was a total success and people loved it. Ciao is truly a family affair, we believe that as business owners you have to be present & involved for your business to succeed and because of that Maurizio is always there to greet you and make sure that all is well, and Rosanna is in the kitchen taking care of your food. Originally from Calabria, Italy they have always had a passion for cooking, whether it was for family or a group of friends; and now we have expanded our Panini Shop to a full home style Ristorante! Our goal is for you to enjoy true Italian cooking, not fancy, but real home style dishes. When you dine at Ciao its like being home, you not only get great food and service, you also get a little bit of Italy each time.
