Cool space for a restaurant with great views. However, the food totally missed the mark. A couple of us ordered the cacio e pepe with beef and I think simple buttered pasta would have had more flavor. Seemed like no cheese (should be pecorino romano) at all was mixed with the dish and just a scant of pepper.

I booked a midweek night here in August to celebrate an upcoming wedding, which one of the girls was going to miss. We were a group of 6 older ladies.. From the moment we went in, the m'aitre d was condescending and dismissive. Our waitress was nice, but the service was glacial. We ordered cocktails which took half an hour to arrive, and were OK but nothing special for the wait. We had wanted to order our food while waiting but couldn't get anyone's attention. From time of sitting to getting starters and main courses delivered at the same time was 1 hour and 40 minutes. Our wine was served 5 minutes before the food. So 1 cocktail in 100 minutes. No water top up. And the restaurant wasn't busy. We only got the wine because I went to the maitre d to complain. She didnt even answer me. Just glided off to get the wine. The food was very average with no-one finishing their meal inspite of the wait. It really felt shop bought. Greasy dry arancini and doughy tasteless pizza, the burrata was OK. When I paid the bill there was no query as to whether we enjoyed our night or asking if everything was OK. Absolutely would not return and would not recommend.

We wanted to switch seats and the waitress was very accommodating. The food was gorgeous from starters to main. We didn’t have room for dessert. Would dine again!

Food was just really bland and disappointing. The spaghetti tasted as if it came from a tin and was heated in the microwave.

After traveling Ireland, eating at lots of pubs, what a delightful and delicious experience at Sophia. The food was Italian and very good. Our server was knowledgeable about cocktails and just overall a delight.
