Booked a table on a Friday night for 10pm and was not expecting to get a table to late, the waitress was so lovely and gave us some tasty recommendations would go back.

We had such a wonderful evening at The Counter. Nothing was any trouble. We booked the table to celebrate my birthday & it was the perfect choice. The food was delicious, ordering was simple & hassle free, food came quickly, the restaurant was very quiet so we could hear each other. Most importantly the staff were lovely. So welcoming and helpful. I thoroughly recommend The Counter & will definitely be going back.

The food was incredible! Vibes were great and buzzy! We sat at the bar which was such a fun experience! The staff was so kind and quick to act!

Rather disappointed, I booked a table for my birthday dinner and when I showed up, despite being able to book a table and google said it was open - the restaurant was closed. Ended up across the street having dinner at Canteen across the street.

4 of us on a busy Friday night. One vegan one with pistachio allergy. Very attentive and accommodating. Some dishes not available which was a shame. Otherwise lovely food. Certainly will return and recommend as locals

Heard a lot of good things about The Counter but was very disappointing. The lamb kebab was the only thing that shined. The Mezze was so so and orzo overcooked. Chipped serving plates everywhere. Should have left at the chipped serving plates upon arrival (I almost did). I understand why there were only 6-8 others in the restaurant.
