Honestly the best roast we’ve had out. The pub is lovely and cosy and the perfect size. We ordered the Butchers block for 5 and it was incredible. I’ve never had roast potatoes like that anywhere and every bit was cooked to perfection. It worked out as such good value. Staff were attentive and helpful and it was just perfect. Thank you so much - I can’t wait to go back!

Excellent village pub with a great choice of pub classics. My wife and I had Pie & Mash & a dirty burger for mains and a side order of the crispiest onion rings I have ever had! Chocolate brownie & a Cherry Bakewell cheesecake ( with a Jammie dodger ice cream Sandwich ) for dessert. A warm welcome at the bar and our table was ready shortly afterwards. Service was attentive but not in your face , food was excellent & great value for money, would recommend.

Executive Chef Didi Ivan has produced a mouth-watering, locally sourced menu with decadent dishes and absolutely favourites. The crème de la crème are our consistently outstanding steaks, we source from a local Surrey Farm and we cook them to perfection. Paired with our favourite, Chocolate Block - it's a crowd pleaser like no other.

Had a stunning meal on Friday evening. We all agreed this was the best steaks we had eaten in a long time. Staff were so attentive & very knowledgeable as 1 of our guests is a celiac & she was great. Had a live singer & she was very good & it wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. Cant wait to return for the new winter menu. It’s only our 2nd time of eating here & have found our new local. Extremely happy with everything. Many thanks 🤩

Our server was very welcoming and accommodating. I was advised straight away of one item that wasn't available. Good selection on the menu at good prices, and some offers too. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals. It was very quiet and a bit chilly, but it was early afternoon (between lunch and finner times), so I imagine the ambience would be better at other times. It didn't stop it from being a very nice family meal. Will definitely return
