As the name suggests, Moules a go-go is famous for its mussels, fresh from the shores of Anglesey, served in a variety of ways from simple Moules Marinieres to Korean. The vast selection of seafood dishes ranging from traditional fish and chips to scrumptious Sea Bass is impressive, though equally appealing are the locally sourced juicy steaks . After 17 successful years in business amongst tough competition, Moules a go-go is still going strong, boasting superb food and a great atmosphere in contemporary yet comfortable surroundings. The head chef and manager have been there since the restaurant’s inception; such longevity is a rare blessing in the tempestuous world of the steaming kitchen, but this dedication shows in the consistency and quality of the food and service. Moules a go-go is a real find in the heart of Chester's history.

Welcomed into the restaurant. Atmosphere warm and welcoming and a lovely smell of food. As always the service was excellent. Hannah is always fab and Millie was great fun at the table. The Veggie sharing board for 2 was massive and the rump steak was cooked to perfection. This a a favourite restaurant of ours.

A really enjoyable dinner at the new TwentyEight. All the small plates we had were delicious, particularly the layered potato terrine, the scallop dish and the reimagined Greek salad. The staff as always were super friendly and helpful

The atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic and the staff were all just brilliant. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, we were well looked after and enjoyed truly great service and really excellent food. We had such a gorgeous time and will definitely be back.
