First but definitely not the last visit yesterday. Enjoyed everything and usually for me, thought it was worth every penny! Nice people, but the best is proper china cups and enough in pot of tea for a few cups for both myself and wife. Can’t wait to take my six year old granddaughter who will love it. Highly recommend!

Superb. Beautifully cooked food. All 3 courses jam packed full of wonderful flavours and quality ingredients. Jess was very welcoming and helpful. No where else in Chester can compare to the standard of cheffery.

My wife and I had an excellent a la carte meal here yesterday evening. The food was delicious - special mention for the calamari , lasagne , roasted cod and tiramisu. The service was efficient and friendly. We will return.

Pie Night at The Bull's Head is always a favourite when we come to stay with friends who live in the village. We tried the Chicken Madras pie and it was amazing - a really simple but brilliant idea, combining two classic staples which everyone loves - pie and curry!

My friend and I had lunch at The Oakfield and it was pretty much faultless. We were greeted by a member of staff who had read my request for a quiet table and seated us in the library area, a lovely oak panelled room. We were introduced to our waitress who I think was called Courtney and who couldn't have been more lovely. I didn't want a big meal so I chose the chicken wings from the starters and my friend had a chicken dish from the main course selection. When they arrived it was clear they'd been freshly cooked and both were absolutely delicious! The added bonus was that members, which I am, get 10% off the bill which was totally unexpected but a nice surprise! I would thoroughly recommend The Oakfield, my son and I go to the zoo together every few months and usually grab something from June's food court, but from now on we'll be eating in the restaurant - give it a try, you won't be disappointed

We were greeted straight away by the waitress and shown to our table. We ordered our wine straight away and it came quick. We ordered the meats board for starters which was perfectly arranged and delicious. We opted for the steak for main course with sides of greens, salad. The steak was cooked perfectly as we asked. The whole meal was so nice, love the peppercorn sauce too as nice and spicy like it should be. Was a good singer in the background which made the evening. The waiting on staff were the best, so attentive and polite. We would recommend Duttons to anyone wanting to try good food, service and ambience. Thank you so much.
