We booked an afternoon tea as it was a gift to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. The food was absolutely lovely and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. We really loved the venue as the tea room is beautiful and in really lovely surroundings. We will definitely be going back very soon.

Took a while to find a member of staff at the hotel, but when the afternoon tea came - it was a lovely selection of savoury and sweet items!

We went on a particularly busy Saturday night and despite being short-staffed, the two waitresses did an amazing job. Me and my sister were celebrating our birthday and we received a complimentary glass of prosecco, which was a lovely touch. We both chose the rib eye steak which was one of the best steak's we'd ever had - perfect. The restaurant itself was lovely with a really nice atmosphere. Knocked a star off for value, as the desserts could have done with being a bit bigger. However, heartily recommend this restaurant, in fact we did, to our fellow guesthouse visitors!

Lovely food in beautiful surroundings. This isn't a cheap afternoon tea but great for a treat and it's lovely to have a well thought out vegan menu. It was a shame the menu was different from the one advertised on the website - we were looking forward to the raspberry and chocolate pebble (the passionfruit cheesecake was amazing but we weren't too keen on the carrot cake) - but the food was still great. It would be good to have a choice of plain or fruit scones. Neither of us like raisins so we had to pick them out! Service was exemplary and the room was lovely - just a little too quiet as we were the only ones in at that time. We would definitely come back.
