Best American Restaurants in Powdersville

Our waiter, Patrick, was attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was excellent, and our reservation was honored only 15 minutes later than we booked. All in all a great experience and one of the reasons The Peddler is one of our favorite restaurants.

Excellent service. Vinny the sommelier was great. Our waitress was fantastic. Great addition to an already high quality dining experience. We will be back to try the chefs tasting menu in the wine cellar.

From the start, Sassafras is awesome. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was great. The drinks were excellent and surprisingly inexpensive. I had the Old Fashioned--actually 2! Very good. My wife had the Autumn Sangaria--she really liked it as well. Both of are meals were very, very good. We sat in the outside area--it had the plastic (?) covering to keep the coolness and breeze away. Totally great experience. In fact, we came back the next night for drinks. ;-)

We traveled over 50 miles to try this steakhouse, and let me tell you, it was worth every mile! Hands down, one of the best steaks I have eaten in a very long time! Cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and the sides were just as delicious! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and quiet, making it the perfect setting for a special date night. It was so nice to enjoy an amazing meal together without all the noise and distractions. From the delicious food to the wonderful atmosphere, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Sometimes the best places are worth going a little out of your way for, and this was definitely one of them! We will absolutely be back! ❤️🥩
