Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Plaza District

Always love the food and personnel here. Now that we’ve tried the Tuesday meatloaf, we are even bigger fans! Always good and always great service.

Lorena is an absolute gem of a restaurant. Their menu is top tier and their waitstaff are the absolute best in OKC. I took my wife out for dinner Friday night and had a marvelous evening. We ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail which was plated on a bed of microgreens accompanied by house-made cocktail sauce and remoulade. The shrimp were perfectly sweet and the sauces were out of this world. I got the smoked prime rib as my main with a twice-baked potato and some of the best green beans I've ever had. My wife ordered the pan seared arctic char over corn bread with dill cream. She said the corn bread "Maque Choux" and dill cream perfectly balanced out the flavor of the char. Of course we had to get desert, I highly recommend the "burnt" crustless cheesecake, it's one of the best Basque cheesecakes I've had. Our server Raven was incredibly knowledgeable, witty, and kind and we had a lovely conversation with the owner over dessert. I can't recommend Lorena highly enough!

We love Old Spag and have been dining here for years. We had the Green Room for a family dinner and our server was excellent! Food was delicious and we had a great time!

The wait staff was incredible to my elderly parents. Making sure they had everything they needed. We had a reservation for Saturday night also and waitress on Friday night said she would make sure my parents had table closest to restroom but unfortunately My father fell ill on Saturday and had to go to ER instead of horse races on Saturday night! My parents love the Silks restaurant at Remington Park. Hopefully they can make it back to Oklahoma next year for thoroughbred horse racing!

First time experience was great. Food was delicious 😋 Friendly atmosphere. Clean restaurant. Would return when back in the area.
