Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Aliso Viejo / Laguna Niguel

Our favorite local restaurant for breakfast or Donner. Exceptional food with large portions.

Great food and service. Perfect place to have dinner on Halloween.

We had the best evening last night. All the staff was incredible… I think it’s our new place to go for Halloween. The food was GREAT and Alli our server was just the best! She was so accommodating, helpful and truly a complete joy! Fun night to celebrate. All the staff had great costumes!

We arrived for our 5 PM reservation and practically had the place to ourselves for the first hour! The ambiance is gorgeous—velvety textures, beautiful wallpaper, and dim lighting create a cozy, sophisticated atmosphere. We shared the grilled artichoke, biscuits, and bruschetta to start, followed by the bolognese, chicken wedge salad, and fried chicken & waffles. The service was impeccable, but the icing on the cake was the incredible live pianist and singer- total Olivia Dean vibes! Beautiful music, intimate atmosphere, and effortlessly elegant surroundings made for a memorable evening. A Laguna Beach gem!

We made reservations for 7:30 but got there early and they were able to seat us right away at a high top booth. Our server was great- the food and drinks were all perfect. Love coming to Lazy Dog!
