    We had a nice meal. During the week they serve a ‘Club Menu’ it’s a paired down cheaper menu compared to the A La Carte which is only available at the weekends. I personally prefer to order the A La Carte but I understand that restaurants have to find innovative ways to continue. That being said it was a lovely evening that just happened to coincide with the Eclipse which we viewed from the terrace where we drank champagne. I recommend the Petersham.

    Beautiful setting and the staff were so attentive and made us feel very welcome. Great service and the food was lovely. Warm scones were so delicious. Unlimited tea and absolutely no rush for us to leave. We had a beautiful walk around the lake afterwards and sat outside in the sunshine. Couldn't had been any better.
