Best Country Kitchens in Stretham

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Redcoats celebrating my wife’s Birthday. The food was excellent ( we think it is the best in our area ) , the service good , and we weren’t rushed , which is how it should be , but often is not the case . The setting and ambience are both delightful .

All the party enjoyed their chosen food, imaginative and full of flavour.

18th birthday meal for 8. What a fabulous experience. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. Balloons on the table, a birthday card and a drink on the house for the birthday twins. Those personal touches were very much appreciated. The service was personal, not rushed, attentive and sociable. The food was great. Two courses for £20. Choices from the entire menu which was varied so, everyone struggled to choose. The pub itself is a piece of history and makes for a lovely, homely evening. Great choice of beers. So lucky this place is local to us so we’ll be back very soon.
