Merriman’s Maui spares nothing when it comes to top-tier dining. The restaurant is welcoming and warm, and the staff, from aloha to mahalo, is kind and knowledgeable. Dishes were bright and balanced, with specific consideration for their impact and footprint. We were able to lean into experts for a perfect wine pairing with our meal and dishes that showcased the strengths of the chef. A very impressive evening; I will recommend it over and over again. We enjoyed an amazing dinner. We seated promptly at the time of our reservation. Our waitress was fantastic, and even though the gift shop had closed… They were willing to open it and let us shop. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I have been to Moku Roots 3 times in the past 3 months as well as buying from their farm store. Every experience with them has been exceptional. The food is the best vegan food I've ever had at any dining place. But you don't have to be vegan to enjoy it. I have taken guests here who aren't vegan, and they agreed every dish was delicious. The buffet offers so much variety --you have a choice of multiple beverages, main dishes, side dishes, and deserts. The staff are more than friendly. The view lets you see both sides of our Maui isthmus. You can visit with the Alpacas and horses, and see the farm itself. If you are a Maui visitor, this place let's you see Maui and it's residents as it ought to be known. A very unique experience. Also, there are lots of places to sit, so whether you like lively or quiet seating, both are available.

The restaurant staff took into account what were our needs and accommodated accordingly. The food and service were amazing too. The dishes were wonderful and thoughtful. They knew what they were doing.

You are seated with a small group with your own bartender who is tailoring your food/drink experience. Pretty special. The three plates equate to more than enough food for us for dinner. We were fed delicious beef w/ mushrooms, tender octopus, lovely seared ahi, kanpachi crudo, and delicious cocktails. The cilantro based cocktail served with the octopus was very memorable. Very highly recommend trying it out.
