- KkateBrighton •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWow, what an exceptional lunch we had on Saturday as part of Brightons Octoberbest event! We had a beautiful table, its a wonderful light restaurant, and the surroundings are fresh and clean. Simple decor, to showcase the fabulous food! The bread with niso butter to start was amazing, followed by the amazing scallops mousse. So good! The fish main was incredible and then the dessert absolutely decadent! I am not a dessert person, so it was quite rich for me, half the amount would have been plenty, but it didnt go to waste as my partner LOVES sweet things. Win win! The staff were perfectly attentive, quick but not too much. Subtle professional service. Even the owner/chwf came to say hello after service which was a really personal yet professional touch. Overall, a faultless occasion. Thank you!More infoThe Little Fish Market££££• Fish• Hove•4.8

- AAnnaSurrey •1 review5.0Dined on 11 Oct 2026We came for their Sunday Lunch which was as delicious as usual. We both had pork which was very tender with the usual trimmings, roast potatoes, parsnips & carrots plus some greens, cauliflower cheese & a Yorkshire pudding with gravy. A real plateful. Pretty much all food could be served in normal or small portions. For the main lunch we chose normal size but I had a small crumble which was lovely & they didn’t skimp on the custard despite the portion size! The lemon posset was also very nice. It was busy but not overly noisy although a lot of that is usually due to the patrons... The waiting staff kept apologising to us about the slowness of the service - apparently they were a couple of staff down - but the service was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. I’d go so far as to say that the level of service given with 2 staff down was pretty much as good as other pubs get with a full quota of staff! The bill proved to be good value for money even including the optional 10% service charge. Definitely had no problems paying that. Always enjoy a Sunday lunch at the Olive Tree. Would highly recommend it.More infoThe Olive Tree££££• British• Woking•4.5
