What a little gem The Oak Bistro is - the food was brilliant, the garden room was perfect. I am Cambridge born and bred and have walked and driven by this venue more times than I care to remember - went in it when it was just a pub back in the day…. What an impressive place it is now will definitely go back and recommend….

Lovely place to meet with friends. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the surroundings were lovely. The restaurant has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with great vibes. Everything was spot on, and we couldn’t fault it. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere!

Another exceptional experience at the ancient Shepherds! First time we had the 7 course taster menu which was absolutely wonderful, we returned this time with friends for Sunday lunch. Everything is top class, service, food, attention to detail, everything served hot and exquisite flavours. Cannot fault anything and we will be back soon!
