Best Italian Restaurants in Mid-City / City Park

We had a fantastic experience at Domenica! We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and ordered a variety of dishes that we shared: wood-roasted shrimp appetizer (arguably one of the best dishes we had!), the tutto carne pizza, Caesar salad, house made ciabatta and the lasagne (tied with the shrimp for the best dish). The food was delicious and the drinks were strong and well-made. We got four desserts: the affogato, the almond olive oil cake, the banana zuppa inglese, and the budino, which we all agreed was the tastiest dessert. As for the service, although our server had only been at the restaurant a short time (we were her fourth shift), we had excellent service! Highly, highly recommend!

The food, service and atmosphere were impeccable. I dined with a party of four, and each one of us ordered a different dish and appetizer. Each one of us thought our meals were delicious.

The food and server were great. I dined there with a new colleague to the city. We especially appreciated our server, Jamie. He was great! The food was fantastic. We shared the Ceasar Salad and Pate'. The entrees were wonderful. We had the risotto and gulf fish piccata. We ended the meal with the tiramisu and coffee. Of course, we had a cocktail and wine too. Everything was wonderful. My colleague loved the place as much as I do; so, we'll be back!

We had a great experience at Sofia. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the pesto pasta with a bottle of the Barrachi wine!
