Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Central Southwest

Arriving directly from the airport . My son was so hungry after hours of traveling. We just wanted a fast cuisine, great service and comfort food. 👍 Zanti is the option for us.

Outstanding restaurant! I had been eager to dine at Yia Yia’s since they first opened but I have a strict rule that I won’t attend restaurants within the first 6 months of opening so I can get the true experience. With that being said, that is exactly what I experienced. The ambiance is cozy and clean and had hints of Greek detailing around the restaurant and I really enjoyed the bathroom hallway gallery wall. The host team was hospitable, welcoming, and seated us right away. Our server was Brian and he had a trainee, Sean. They were incredible! Brian guided our experience seamlessly and had extensive knowledge about the backstory of Yia Yia, the food and the drinks. The drinks were fabulous and had a well rounded menu for any palate. You could see Greek influence amongst every cocktail. I browsed at their wine list and hope I have the opportunity to try some of it in the future since I’m quite the fan of Greek wines. Our group of 9 did family style for our whole meal and let me just say we ordered probably about 70% of the menu and there was not a single item that missed. We were celebrating a birthday and even though we were SO full, Brian brought out a little sweet treat for the celebrant. Jessica the manager stopped by the table and was incredibly kind, professional, and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. Overall, 10/10 would recommend and I look forward to returning in the future!

An unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a warm, elegant atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy every moment. The ambiance is stunning—perfect lighting, stylish décor, and a lively yet comfortable energy throughout the space. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, full of flavor and prepared to perfection. You can truly tell that great care goes into every detail. The service was equally impressive—attentive, professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel valued and ensured that every aspect of our evening was flawless. Amazing food, great service, and an incredible atmosphere. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Misty was our waitress and absolutely amazing. Every time we dine at Sixty Vines we hope to see her. Why she isn’t running the place by now is beyond us but we all love her. The food was excellent as usual and the drinks lovely. Thank you shout out to Zach as well for suggesting the Affogato be accompanied with espresso hot espresso instead of the typical cold brew. It elevated the dessert immensely!

The food was delicious and impeccably presented, the atmosphere was incredible, and the drinks were top-notch. ​The service was extraordinary; Roberto took care of me, and he was super friendly and professional. To top it all off, Chef Luis came by my table, making the experience even more personalized and special. ​If you are in Houston, BNC is a must-visit. Everything was truly excellent!
