Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. Run by chef proprietor, Simon Hulstone and his wife Katy.     Went for the tasting menu and was not disappointed. The food was fantastic with the tomato and scallop dishes standing out, although every course was a winner. The wine flight was quite expensive but excellent matches to the food and the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for a special night out.

    Went with a friend for Sunday lunch. Had a fabulous roast - delicious, served hot and well presented. Dessert was excellent too - and plentiful. Staff were all lovely and provided great service. Would highly recommend.
