Excellent all round.

A very enjoyable meal with great service in a very nice location. The birthday surprise was a nice touch too.

First visit to Gateway Guinness area (what a great lay-out). Choose Gilroy’s for rooftop dining. Great service - both upon entry and at the table. Appreciated the waiters recommendations - small plates (3). Great tasting - and filling! The Guinness was “unbelievably fresh” (from the brewery?) while the “Ale” as offered was surprisingly tasty! A “10 out of 10 today” with “sunshine” on the rooftop adding to a great day!

Had a brilliant evening for our first visit to Duck Soup. We were nervous given a handful of negative reviews on TripAdvisor but our experience couldnt have been more positive. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The wine list is as long as your arm and the food menu was stuffed full of interesting combos of small plates and fresh, delicious seasonal ingredients. Ambience is gorgeous especially coming into autumn and winter months. Perfect for a cosy candlelight date or social catch up with friends. Dishes are on the more expensive side of the small plates revolution vs the like of Forza etc but we cant wait to come back and have been thinking about the risotto all day. A must visit gorgeous soho haunt.
