Best Southern American Restaurants in Hartwell

Always a great time at Rotie! We enjoyed the fondue shareable (always a good move) and the new charred okra to start and the steak frites, pasta bourguignon, and burger for entrees. Everything was fantastic! Lilly took fabulous care of us per usual. Don't sleep on the autumn drink features either!

Excellent restaurant. Food was delicious. The Filet is the best I’ve ever had. Our waiter was excellent. Will definitely eat here again.

Overall great rustic experience! Been here three times and never disappointed.

The food was excellent, our server was Soup and he was also excellent, we are going back tonight for a second night, we are only in town for three nights, and we are doing Soby's twice

From the start, Sassafras is awesome. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was great. The drinks were excellent and surprisingly inexpensive. I had the Old Fashioned--actually 2! Very good. My wife had the Autumn Sangaria--she really liked it as well. Both of are meals were very, very good. We sat in the outside area--it had the plastic (?) covering to keep the coolness and breeze away. Totally great experience. In fact, we came back the next night for drinks. ;-)
