Best Southern American Restaurants in Walterboro

Best chicken pot pie ever! Great fried chicken too!

We hit a lot of restaurants in our week long stay in Bluffton that were great. This one stands out. It did not disappointed. From the tuna tartare app to the carrot cake dessert, it was truly a great meal. The carrot cake is to die for! (And it was on the house for our anniversary) Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. Lovely front porch dining too. Will definitely be back.

Our 19th anniversary at Circa 1886 was absolutely amazing and was second to any restaurant experience so far here in CHARLESTON. Any suggestion for even your blue collar folk who want to spend some money now and again, select one of the pre-course meals with the wine pairing. It’s a little bit of money but the experience you have is definitely worth the price of admission. Francesco and Ann were absolutely phenomenal human beings who are so polite and love to talk and provided the most incredible service you could ask for. This was well worth the trip and the time and the money just to have such a romantic experience with a staff that is so accommodating and absolutely so friendly. Thank you for one of the best nights of our lives and we really appreciate your entire staff at Circa 1886.

Our server, Emerson, was FABULOUS! Friendly and outgoing, she was perfectly synced with our table. We would love to have her as a server again. The food was great, the portions were well- sized, and the time there was well spent.

The food was good. The presentation of the meal was amazing.
