You all made our first anniversary very special. It started in the morning getting a call from the mom of the owner. she wanted to do something special for us and she did. Thank you. I also enjoyed our conversation. food beyond what we were expecting and the young lady who waited on us was perfect. Thank you all, and to the chef great food.

First of all, Harlie was an excellent server--attentive, professional, knowledgeable and conversational. I went with the intent of trying the butcher's blend cheeseburger, which was very good. The field greens, pear and candied pecan salad was excellent as always. My friend ordered the "beef and bleu" appetizer, the 8 oz filet and truffle steak fries. All were excellent, but he raved about the truffle fries.

Situated in a beautiful historic building, this restaurant brings all of the warmth & ambience of Richmond’s great historical periods! The food & service were both exceptional & we were allowed to take our time, not being rushed away from the table, post-meal. This was appreciated,as we were dining with family members that we hadn’t seen in a long time. There were so many interesting facets within…. From tall/gilded mirrors to rich, intricate wood work & grand chandeliers! With two very inviting bars, and three levels offering many types of seating, The Tobacco Company is Top Notch & I’d certainly recommend for ANY occasion! BONUS: The antique elevator is fun & convenient for traversing the different levels!
