This is our favorite dining experience in the DMV - and beyond. Greetings are effusive. Service is wonderful. Mustafa is our favorite, but everyone involved is grand. The food is par excellence. And the wine list is very fine. Lorraine and I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary yesterday with "our friends" here at LACF and every one helped us, with style, but also with grace.

I have been visiting Chez Francois for more than two decades and always found the food excellent and the staff friendly and attentive. Normally I frequent the main restaurant for lunch but this time decided to try an early dinner at the Brasserie. While I didn’t need a reservation that night normally I would. This time my reservation secured me the perfect table and the service and food were outstanding.

Always great food and service! And a good wine list, and the rice pudding dessert is fantastic!

Loveliest solo dining experience on a weeknight. The food is always superb. But what stood out on this visit was the exceptional service. Sergio took my wine order, but offered a sample & suggestion of something he thought I may like even more. I loved the edit and was grateful for the insightful suggestion. When I ordered dessert & a coffee, he again thoughtfully asked if I'd like to delay delivery a bit, to enjoy a more leisurely pace. Solo dining often feels rushed (no conversational partner), so slowing things down for a more luxe experience was so appreciated. Brilliant service! The only qualm: it can get a bit loud when the restaurant is full. But even then, it feels festive and you know they're doing a roaring business because they're THAT good.
