Best Restaurants for Business Meals in Ukrainian Village

Great food and ambiance. The main restaurant stay true to the old steakhouse vibe of beautiful wood and black and white photos. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The sauces were authentically homemade. Walked passed this place for years and finally experienced why it is a neighborhood gem. I will definitely be back in the near future. Thanks so much to the entire staff as service was top notch.

We celebrated my dad’s 79th birthday and my mom’s 77th birthday, just three days apart, at Smith & Wollensky. We wanted to take them somewhere new, and the riverfront location—with valet parking and easy access—made it a perfect choice. My parents have lived on the South Side their whole lives, and my dad spent 28 years as a Chicago police officer there. He usually stayed away from downtown, so we were especially happy to find a place he really enjoyed. The wait staff was absolutely fantastic: welcoming, attentive, and on top of everything throughout the evening. And the food was stunning—every dish came out perfectly and tasted incredible. My mom was so excited that she dressed up and spent the night before reading reviews of the menu items. We all had a wonderful birthday dinner. Smith & Wollensky made the evening feel special from start to finish, and we can’t wait to come back. This place never disappoints!
