Ukrainian Village Restaurants

When you get the chance to stop by Ukrainian Village, the nation's hottest neighborhood, be sure to bring a full wallet and an empty stomach. Upscale diners lure visitors with dishes like pan-roasted red trout while hole-in-the-wall cafes marry comfort food with great alternative music. Find bistros that support farm-to-table principles, sourcing their menu-of-the-day ingredients from the farmers market down the street. Immigrants from a multitude of countries bring kitchen secrets from home and invite you to partake of their memorable ethnic cuisine from pierogies to hand-rolled pasta. The name of the neighborhood is apt, and those looking for authentic Ukrainian and Russian dishes will find just what they're looking for. When you're ready for dessert, discover hot flavors like maple gingersnap at a corner gelato shop.
