Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Glossop

We visited the Hawksmoor after many recommendations from family and friends for my partners birthday and wow we weren’t disappointed! The restaurant was stunning, dim lit with a beautiful atmosphere. We opted for the cocktail menu and as someone who’s tried spicy margaritas in every country and restaurant i’ve visited across the world- nobody quite does it as good as these guys. We were fortunate enough to have booked alongside the 20th anniversary menu at £75pp. Our server Danny went above and beyond using her expertise to pair our drinks with our food and recommend her personal favourites helping the 2 most indecisive people she’s probably ever met. We were well looked after with a glass never empty, although the restaurant was busy we were tended to regularly and never felt rushed. Highly recommend to any steak lovers!

Excellent lunch menu. Outstanding food and great value for money

We have visited a few times and usually come with friends from outside the area to show them the views which are stunning. The food was absolutely fantastic, 3 of us had the steak and ale pie and all of us said it was the best pie we had ever had!! Fabulous fresh seasonal veg but could have done with a few more chips. Service was friendly and nothin was too much trouble for all the staff. A beer drinker in our party commented on the fantastic beer too. All in all this is a 10 out of 10 pub and we will be back more often.
