Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Kegworth

Went for breakfast, lovely welcome, service excellent. Food was perfect. Very good prices compared to other venues

We went to celebrate a birthday with a champagne breakfast, the surroundings were beautiful and the service very good indeed. It was served in courses - starting with a glass of champagne and one of orange juice, toast and croissants then appeared followed by two courses - one an appetiser and the second a main breakfast. There was a lot of food. I had yogurt, walnuts and honey as my appetiser which was delicious and then mushrooms and poached eggs on toast with perfectly cooked asparagus and hollendaise sauce. Couldn't finish it. They planned to serve coffee and tea at the end but we asked for it with our "mains" as we were pretty keen for coffee by that time anyway. Overall it did feel special and I think it was good value for good food and an experience.

The food was excellently prepared. The service was excellent by friendly, young staff. We sat outside with a lovely view of the duck pond and ducks. A shame that the owner of the house across the road decided to noisily strim his large garden.

Fantastic helpful waiter arranged our roast dinner to come quickly as we were on our way to a family gathering. He could not have been more helpful. Sunday dinner was very nicely done indeed, couldn’t fault it at all. On a bank holiday weekend though, and with the sports screens, it was a bit rowdy and we were seated right by the constantly opening doors. On a quieter day it would have been more relaxing. It is a nice pub.
